Sidr is a dense, deciduous, spreading tree with a trunk branching to meandering branches, light brown in color, reaching a height of approximately 2 to 4 meters. Its leaves are small, oval, and have a thick scale that can withstand harsh environmental conditions, but it needs a warm winter where it cannot tolerate low temperatures. In general, Sidr trees grow in hot and temperate regions. Sidr grows in all types of lands as long as the ground water level does not rise.
