The mulberry tree needs light, yellow soil with good ventilation and drainage, and it cannot be planted in wet soil, which maintains its moisture for a long time, but it needs soil with wide pores for the water to be soaked quickly to prevent it from accumulating. It is watered once a month in summer, since berries do not need frequent watering. The ideal temperature for growing berries is between 30 to 35 °C and the maximum is 42 °C.
