Common names include physic nut, Barbados nut, poison nut, bubble bush or purging nut. Binomial name: Jatropha curcas. It is a type of plant belonging to the genus Jatropha of the family Euphorbiaceae. The shrub is able to produce a rare vegetable oil that is mixed with fuel, which is of great strength and helps in not polluting the environment. Also, it mainly helps in fighting desertification since it grows in desertified and dry places and does not need plenty of water. It is also called the green gold tree and can contribute to increasing the national income of poor countries.
