Binomial name: Tecoma stans, is a perennial evergreen shrub that is native to the central tropical regions of America, western India, the Andes Mountains, and South America, and spread in hot areas up to a height of 900 m above sea level. It reaches a height from 2 to 4 meters. The flowers are tubular in shape, large, yellow, found in dense terminal groupings (inflorescences) of large size and appear in spring and autumn. The fruit resembles a horn up to 12 cm long and opens when the seeds are ripe. The leaves are light green with sharply toothed, serrated edges. They are planted for the beauty of their flowers.
