he dwarf banana plant grows to a height of 2 or 3 meters, it is originated in Southeast Asia and Northern Australia, and needs large amounts of irrigation and a warm place protected from the wind. Frost destroys the leaves of the plant, and like any other herbaceous plant, it renews its growth from the corms after waves of frost, getting smashed by storms, or severe pruning. It tolerates direct sunlight or partial shade.
