Yucca gigantea or yucca elephantipes, within this genus are about 40 species of evergreen trees and shrubs. To take care of it, the temperature in winter should not be less than 7°C, it tolerates relatively dry air, loves bright filtered sunlight, and it is advisable to expose it to direct sunlight for short periods, not during summer. It bears drought and lack of irrigation and is not irrigated until it is completely dry, it is fertilized only during summer. The young plant is not transferred from one pot to another except when necessary. As for the large plant, it usually does not need to be transferred, and it may remain in the same pot for few years.
